    Michael Pickens won the Australian Midget Super Series over all points and 30 lap feature at Paramatta

    Hayden Williams finished the Springs Speedway season by winning the feature in fine fashion. Always good to see the next generation of drivers coming through and showing good potential for the future of speedway

    Johnathan Allard does it again winning the last two features at the Springs to cap off a long list of wins this season after destroying his car in a crash early in the season. Johnathan now returns to the USA to compete over there. Thanks for bringing your great tallent to NZ for us race fans to enjoy. We hope you have a great season back home.

    Scott Baker made some impressive passes to eventually take the lead to win another feature event at the Springs. This time on NZ midget champs night

    An elated Gina Harris won her first feature race at the Springs 5th February meeting. She got off to a flyer and despite a number of yellow slow-downs she was never challenged for the lead. Well done Gina

    Starting from grid 2 Jamie McDonald set a blistering pace to win the 5th Feb feature. He led from green to chequer

    Jerry Coons Jr. is making a habit of winning here at the Springs as he chalks up another impressive win in the Barry Butterworth Memorial 40 lap feature

    Scott Baker has been hard on the gas lately and now wins the Auckland TQ champs.Keep on the gas Scott

    It's been a battle for Ricky Logan of recent times but he showed his true class by winning the feature 15-01-11
    Tonight is 50 lap night, the biggest event of the NZ midget calander and the drivers will also be trying to become the highest points scorer in the international midget series. (highest points scorer over the 4 international midget feature races.) The trophy will be presented by C.W.A. Finance.

    Jerry Coons Jr. Was highest points scorer in the international teams and feature racing making him the winner of the Herman Tros memorial trophy for the 10-11 season.
    He also won last year making it two in a row. Congratulations Jerry, we enjoy your great racing skills.

    Coons Jr. takes the inside line coming off turn 4 while Pickens takes a flyer round the outside coming up to the finish line of the 50 lap midget classic. They crossed the line at exactly 1000th of a second together making it a dead heat for first. One way to have the crowd standing and cheering I suppose!!!

    Bryan Clauson USA makes it two from two features when he won on 29th Dec This puts him on highest points for the international series CWA Finance trophy with two more meetings to go. Jerry Coons Jr. and Michael Pickens are tied for second on points going into round 3.

    TQs 16 Ryan Barry and 11 Aaron Wrightson both crossed the finish line on exactly the same time in the tq feature 29th Dec. Barry was declared the winner on fast lap count-back


    No Peter Murphy is not on a hill climb he is actually on his way to winning the feature on Boxing night. Peter is an Australian currently living in the USA

    Simon Styles, car No. 67H is in this ball of flame. Thanks to immediate action from the Huntly safety crew and modern protective apparel, Simon walked away from the incident unscathed.

    The Auckland regional councils paid 2.2 million dollars to Arpass headed by Colin Dale to come up with the idea that Speedway is not a good option for Western Springs. What do you think????
