stopped on the track and was not happy to restart from the rear. #23 Tong
lead out from #54, Kete was the big mover and did a great pass on him and new race
leader.

Pickens started on
pole alongside Jerry Coons, second row Chris McCutcheon alongside Nathan Smee (Aus). Pickens won the start from Coons, great tussle developed between these two leading changed few times, but Pickens got the lead back. Big movers were
Williams, McCutheon, Mosen. Pickens developed a huge lead from Coons and was in now in lap traffic, but could not get past. With 16 laps to go, Coons had got caught up in slow
traffic and lost ground. Later in the race Williams went on high side to get past
Coons, Coons tried going under him resulting in both colliding and both slid into the wall. Pickens won the restart and held his lead to the finish.
